A story of lost love, young love, a legendary sword and one last opportunity at redemption.
- Donnie Yen - Meng Sizhao / Silent Wolf
- Michelle Yeoh - Yu Shu Lien
- Harry Shum Jr. - Wei Fang
- Natasha Liu Bordizzo - Snow Vase
- Woo-Ping Yuen
The first one is a classic which had a great soundtrack, was spiritual and had a lot of soul. This one is just a bog standard Kung Fu movie. It’s o.k but no more than that. Great to see Donnie Yen in there and Master Woo Ping’s fight scenes are always entertaining (there’s even a Matrix stance in there) but it just hasn’t got that certain something which the original had. I guess that’s what Ang Lee brought to the table.
Plus it’s in English. Just doesn’t feel right.
