Review

Loved the book but I feel PTA got the tone of the book totally wrong in the film and a lot of funny parts of the book were missed out.

There are scenes that are dialogue heavy and at times these scenes are whispered or mumbled which make it hard work to follow what’s going on in an already barely existing plot.

Phoenix was miscast as Doc but Brolin is great as Bigfoot, the only saving grace of the movie.

Overly long, poorly paced and a huge let down. I was really looking forward to this. PTA’s worst.

2.5 Stars (2.5 / 5)
